The tiny cub was put back with mum and the other cub after gaining some weight. Let's hope it can hold it's own this time.

Mon, November 6, 2006 - 9:13 PMI am sooooo jelous! I volunteer at the Honolulu zoo and we got a new sumatran breeding pair on thanksgiving last year. We were supposed to have cubs by now, but we have to extend our exhibit before we can allow breeding. The keeper is having one hell of a time getting the permits through the city, talk about politics! I keep hopinh the permits will go through so we can have cubs before I graduate in May.
